Product Overview

Magnolia grandiflora 'Southern Charm' PP #13,049
This very compact southern magnolia features an upright form with shiny, deep green leaves that have heavy, velvety, reddish brown undersides, and classic, large 6- to 8-inch wide, fragrant, white flowers. A superb specimen tree for smaller landscapes, or use as an accent in larger landscapes. Evergreen.

Planting & Growing

Provide deep, nutrient-rich, acidic, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly in first few growing seasons to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce watering frequency; best with regular moisture, but will tolerate brief periods of drought. Feed in early spring before new growth emerges.
