Garden Consultation Service

Matthew is the primary horticulturist that I worked with for an on-site consultation at my home and in the store selecting the plants. On my initial visit to the store, I spoke with the horticulturist present at the time, Mike. Both of men were great listeners to discern what I wanted to accomplish in redoing my front landscape planting area and showing me plants & small trees that would work. Matthew performed the on-site consultation to validate all we had discussed & viewed in store and to ensure they would be excellent, lasting choices for the specific terrain and complimentary to the architecture of my home. Superb decisions and the result is beautiful! Matthew continued to help with ensuring all plants were available & helping me select the specific size for initial planting in my Landscspe. I recommend Pike Nursery in Acworth and both Matthew & Mike as horticulturists.

We were very pleased with our experience at Pikes. Ann was very helpful in planning with us putting together an area in front of our house. The planting crew showed up on time. They installed everything as desired. Watered it all in. Gave instructions on how to water for next two weeks.

Matt walked with me through my yard and provided many suggestions for problem areas. He has given me a lot of deer proof plants to try, and I am excited to get started with a new plan. He had pictures of the planting suggestions so I could easily visualize them in my garden as well. I have a lot of areas that the deer visit and now I have some ideas how to include them in the overall landscape.

We recently moved into a new house, and needed guidance on our new yard. Our consult was helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable. I have a better understanding of my yard and a plan for enhancement.

Mike worked with me on Thrusday, April 3rd for at least 1-1/2 hours helping me to try and make a decision about planting for the entrance of our town homes. I had to delay my purchase because had not done all my homework, but wanted everyone to know and helpful he was to me.. Never seemed to lose his enthusiasm for one more plant for me to look at. So
generous and knowledgeable.. I really appreciated his attention and look
forward to working soon again with Mike.

Fast and efficient

I am a beginner at landscape gardening. I had landscape installed and needed advice on how to maintain it. Chris was able to me through the processes, like watering (I now own a water meter!) and fertilizing as well as help with some problem plants. Well worth the time and expense - I feel confident I can do this!

Our need was only tree related with regards to which was the best type/size and how many of each we will need. Paul was very patient and gave great advice and ideas. Only gave 4 stars as process was a little clunky to get set up and the cost was a little bit more than we would have preferred to spend. But happy overall.

Everytime I go to Pike's it is like a mini-vacation. The Garden Consujltation Service is a win-win. So glad I made the decision to have to come out to my mud pile, Erica. Thanks for making this so much fun!

Rebecca is a great consultant, she helped me tremendously with my yard!
Her knowledge of trees, flowers ,plants scrubs ,grass etc. is so passionate and shows me she cares about others!

Michael was great! We utilized almost all of the 2 hour time to patiently walk our yard, starting at the driveway and walking around. Michael was patient and knowledgeable as we asked questions and he shared insights and recommendations for landscaping in the areas that we needed most help. We look forward to seeing Michael at the store and have him show his recommendations.

The consultant was very knowledgeable and informative about the issues found on my trees and shrubs. He gave practical advice that will be easy to follow. Very patient with all my questions.

I have been charged $249 for the consultation service with the understanding I would be contacted within 24 to 72 hours. Six days later I still have not been contacted but Pikes has my money.

No contact from Pike nurseries as of yet to set up a consultation as of today.

Charles was very helpful in making recommendations for my yard maintenance. He answered all my questions and gave suggestions to maintaining my yard.

It’s a little hard for me to review the garden consultation, because I never got a response from anyone at Pikes. So I cannot recommend this product to anyone.
