Acorus gramineus 'Ogon'
Excellent for brightening the edges of ponds or water gardens. Richly colored, golden yellow, grass-like leaves provide colorful accents, even in lightly shaded areas. Slowly naturalizes by spreading roots. Crushed foliage emits a delightful scent. Semi-evergreen.
Planting & Growing Thrives in average soils with consistent moisture, even boggy conditions and standing water. Shelter from harsh sun exposure in hot summer regions. Water regularly to maintain moisture levels; will not tolerate dry soils. For a neat appearance, remove old, faded foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
